ABOUT RICHARD
Richard Tumolo, President and CEO of Hawaiian Corporate Games and Events Inc., has successfully interacted with Incentive and Corporate Event Planners since 1980. That was the year that Richard and his wife Cynthia created the original “Western Desert Jeep Safari” in Scottsdale Arizona. With cowboy guides, awesome desert trails, large or small groups, Richard’s “Wild West” off road experience filled a large void in Arizona’s group travel industry!
With his jeeps running 24-7, Richard came up with a totally new concept. He called his company “Arizona’s Cowboy Camp for Dudes.” His innovative, hands on, Western experience was new to Arizona’s tourism industry and actually kick started the “Team Building” craze. From simulated steer roping to bull riding, quick draw contests to real cattle drives, the “Corporate Cowboys” ate it up!
After some years, while his wife Cindy held down the fort in Arizona, Richard headed further West to the beautiful Hawaiian Islands, where within a few months, he introduced “Hawaiian Corporate Games and Events” to the Island’s Hoteliers, their Corporate and Incentive groups, and to local Destination Management Companies.
As “HCG’s” popularity grew, and as repeat clientele requested new fun events and activities, Richard’s selection of innovative Island programs exploded!
To date his most requested Team Spirited programs are: Survivors of Volcano Island, The Outrageous Race, Tribal Raft Challenge, Build a Hawaiian Village, Maui Wowie Road Rally, Wild and Wacky Beach Olympics and many more to come!
